TaxSlayer to hire 200 for coming tax season
Evans-based tax preparation software company TaxSlayer said Monday that it will hire 200 seasonal customer support representatives to provide phone and e-mail customer support for the 2016 tax season.
The company will conduct interviews for the openings on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its headquarters at 3003 TaxSlayer Drive.
Ashleigh Rhodes, the firm’s Director of Human Resources, said there are two start dates, Nov. 17 and Dec. 7. The seasonal, part-time positions will stop working April 15, 2016.
TaxSlayer said it will pay $11 per hour and is looking for candidates with good communication and computer skills. Knowledge of tax preparation and IRS tax law is a plus but not required.
