Location:  Savannah, Georgia

STATEMENT OF THE JOB: The Retention Account Executive’s job is to provide superior customer service to an existing client list, promote consistent marketing strategies, and recognize opportunities to grow client’s market share.

THE REQUIREMENTS OR SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

EDUCATION:  College degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: Must have 2-3 years progressively responsible sales experience with demonstrated success managing and developing advertising revenues.  Demonstrated success performing in a commission sales environment required.  Media Experience helpful.

  • Record all sales activity in CRM tools and meet all monthly sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Strong communication / listening skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within internal stakeholders and cross functional teams.
  • Visualizes and/or paints a conceptual picture of the solution.
  • Collaborative problem solver.
  • Emulates and represent our company brand and company image.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information and accelerate learning curve in short period of time.
  • Ability to use technology to creatively present to clients.
  • Experience selling media and technology solutions to local businesses.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that must be complemented by excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in technology and software-as-a-service (SaaS) product sales is preferred.
  • Experience with SugarCRM preferred.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. 
  • Must have computer proficiency and knowledge of e-commerce. 
  • Consistently meet or exceed goals as defined by manager. 
  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, Targeted display marketing and outbound marketing tactics Preferred.
  • Must have a current driver’s license with appropriate proof of insurance.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Work hands-on to build and manage your book of business
  • Required to retain a very high percentage of active customers
  • Required to retain the previous months/years revenue
  • Converts transactional customers to long-term clients
  • You will be required to travel to visit customers as needed.
  • Must have excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Maintain a good relationship with accounts in order to keep them satisfied and best meet their advertising needs. 
  • Must be able to build, grow and maintain accounts in your personal book of business, and deliver exceptional customer service and maintain meaningful relationships with clients. 
  • Must oversee your clients’ campaigns and regularly communicate performance results. 
  • Must drive retention and growth (upsells) with existing client base.  
  • Analyze other media as well as advertiser activity in competitive media. Employ available marketing materials to promote advertising solutions.
  • Ability to convey and teach business remotely.
  • Create new and innovative ways to grow your customers business in the ever-changing world of digital media. 
  • Must be an expert at customizing online campaigns. Helps facilitate a smooth transfer of customers from the new business acquisition account executives.

WORKING CONDITIONS:  Working primarily “on the street” with minimal office time. Will be required to log sales activities in CRM tool remotely between appointments on personal tablet.
