Account Coordinator

Responsible for designing, coordinating advertisements and laying them out in our publications as well as coordinating ad copy with clients and account sales executives.   This position works in a field that is in a constant state of change. Successful applicants will be very flexible, multi- task oriented, highly organized, and able to work with a number of products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and create marketing collateral
  • Coordinate ads for all publications.
  • Update all websites
  • Work with account executives coordinating ad copy and proofs.
  • Book advertisements in billing system.
  • Assist account executives as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Must be organized and able to multi-task.
  • Should be able to work well under pressure of deadline – daily, weekly and monthly
  • Must be customer service focused and detailed oriented.

EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING:

Experience in InDesign and/or Photoshop is needed. 

The following experience is a plus.

  • Newspaper or magazine experience.
  • Experience with layout systems.
  • Experience building web ads

                            

EDUCATION:

High school diploma needed; college degree preferred. Knowledge of computers with layout and design experience needed.
